On May 24th, Prairie Bus Lines participated in the Local Bus Roadeo held at St. Joseph’s High School in Red Deer. Participants were able to choose whether they’ wanted to compete in the ‘Small Bus’ Category or the ‘Big Bus’ Category.
Close to 50 school bus drivers from around central Alberta put their skills to the test. Competitors from Red Deer Catholic, Chinooks Edge, Wolf Creek and Prairie Bus Lines engaged in a variety of skill-testing events, including railroad crossing, diminishing clearance, back-up stall and offset alley.
We had numerous employees from Prairie Bus Lines participate who were successful in both categories.
Congratulations to Jordon Freerksen for placing 1st in the ‘Big Bus‘ Category!
Prairie Bus Lines was also able to secure 2nd place in the ‘Big Bus’ Category with Natalie Howes in the runner-up position, while Linda Fredine placed 3rd.
